March with a Purpose for Ramarley Graham

Instead of firing Richard Haste, the officer who shot and killed Ramarley inside the family’s home and in front of his 6-year-old brother & grandmother, Mayor de Blasio allowed him to resign. It is another slap in the face to Ramarley's family. Ramarley Graham's family deserves for the remaining officers charged in his killing – Sergeant Scott Morris & Officer John McLoughlin—to be fired.

On Tuesday, April 4th, stand with Ramarley's family, other families of those killed by the police, the Justice Committee and Black Lives Matter-NY to commemorate the death of Martin Luther King Jr. by demanding that the Mayor and the NYPD commissioner fire all of the officers involved in Ramarley's killing.

Passover Vigil of Remembrance for Ramarley Graham

  • 1 Union Square East New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

The Aftselokhes Spectacle Committee will hold a one hour Passover vigil of remembrance for Ramarley Graham in Union Square in Manhattan in support of his family. We honor our ancestors by listening to the stories, pain and truths of our family members harmed by police violence. We feel the need to correct, and recognize the pain caused by the Pharaohs of this generation.  We join with Ramarley's family and supporters in calling for Mayor de Blasio and Police Commissioner Bratton to fire all the NYPD officers:

  • Responsible for killing Ramarley Graham;
  • That illegally entered Ramarley's home;
  • That assaulted Ramarley's mother at the precinct; and
  • That denied Ramarley's grandmother access to her lawyer.
